Release what runs deep
Deep Tissue Massage
Your session starts with a focused consultation to identify specific areas of pain or tension. The therapist warms the tissue with lighter Swedish strokes before gradually deepening the pressure. Using knuckles, forearms, and elbows, they work slowly across the grain of the muscle, holding pressure on trigger points to encourage release. You'll be asked to breathe deeply during intense moments — this helps the muscle surrender. The therapist may return to the same area multiple times, layering pressure as the tissue softens. The session ends with gentle stretching and effleurage to integrate the work. You may feel some soreness for 24–48 hours, similar to a good workout — this is normal and indicates the tissue is remodeling.
Deep Tissue Massage is ideal for office professionals with chronic neck and back pain, athletes recovering from training, individuals with postural issues from prolonged sitting, and those managing chronic pain conditions. If you carry deep tension that doesn't respond to lighter massage, this is your treatment. Not recommended immediately after acute injury — wait 72 hours for inflammation to subside.
